Topical, text based analysis.
Thematic Analyst uses our entire universe of data sources to perform research and analysis on the topics you submit. Currently, the product is optimized for text-based qualitative analysis and not (yet) numbers based quantitative analysis.
Interpretation of factors.
If you include a “factor” in your topic, Analyst will infer what you’re looking for. For example: “largest companies” will use market cap as a filter, and “fastest growing” will use 1 year revenue growth as a filter.
Inferring filtering with UI controls.
If you include a metric in your topic, we will infer which metric you’re looking for. We’ve also included a ‘filters’ area where you can fine-tune the filters you’re looking for and a range for each. Below is a list of the company metrics that we’re currently pulling in for each company.
